The portraits from my 'Contrast' are all black and white and shot on film.

Black and white portraits have always had a timeless quality. Details, emotions, and tones are captured without the distraction of color. You are forced to focus on the intrinsic beauty of the scene.

Why film? Because like black and white, film also has timeless qualities. As digital methods have given everyone incredible access to be their own photographer, there is a skill required in film photography that takes a lifetime to master and may soon be lost.
