The portraits from my 'Circus' series are all in infrared black and white.  They are similar to the 'Supernal' series except these portraits are done in low key.

Shooting in infrared, and with low key lighting, allows us to explore the underlying texture of the skin in a different way.  Veins become visible. The skin takes on an almost silver tone. And most of our so-called 'imperfections' become as they truly are -- perfections.
